MONOPULSE COMPARATORS

The monopulse comparator is a hardware signal processing system which accurately predicts the distance, exact coordinates, and cross-section of the radar target. There are two types of monopulse comparators: amplitude monopulse comparators and phase monopulse comparators. Some systems combine both types. ET Industries mainly employs amplitude monopulse comparator systems. Accuracy of the coordinates of the radar target depends on the differential amplitudes between the various ports of the comparator’s system.
