Power dividers (also known as power splitters or power combiners when used in reverse) and directional couplers are passive devices that are largely utilized in the field of radio technology. A power divider can also be used as a power combiner, where two (or more) ports are utilized to combine input signals into a single output because it is a reciprocal network.
